About this site

Editorial standards: how we source every figure

This site publishes prices, sizes, distances and legal explanations that people make large decisions on. This page sets out where each figure comes from, what we will not estimate, and how to tell us we are wrong.

The rule

Every project figure on this site is traced to the developer's published project information or to a public record. Where a figure is not published, the page says so rather than estimating it. Arithmetic we perform ourselves is shown, so you can check it.

  • We publish: figures the developer publishes, public records such as Karnataka RERA registrations, and arithmetic on those figures with the working shown.
  • We do not publish: price appreciation, rental yields, transaction data, construction rates or market forecasts. We hold none of it.
  • We do not fabricate: reviews, ratings, testimonials, author credentials, or distances for areas we do not cover.
  • We are not Sumadhura. This is an independent marketing and information website.

Where the figures come from

Three sources, in order of how often they are used:

  1. The developer's published project information. Configurations, sizes, starting prices, site areas, open space percentages, clubhouse sizes, amenity counts, tower configurations, possession dates and published distances to schools, hospitals, tech parks and metro stations.
  2. Public records. Karnataka RERA registrations, which we reproduce in full in the footer of every page so you can verify them at rera.karnataka.gov.in.
  3. Arithmetic on the above. Homes per acre, clubhouse area per home and indicative rate per square foot are computed from published figures. Where we compute something, the inputs and the division are shown on the page.

What we refuse to estimate

Sixteen articles on this site cover topics where a number would be expected and we do not have one: price appreciation, rental yield, construction cost per square foot, locality price trends, and the status of future metro and road corridors.

Those articles carry an explicit callout stating that no such figure appears in them and why. They explain how the number is built and name the sources that hold it. Three locality articles cover areas where no project we cover is located; they publish no distances at all and say so on the page.

Why this matters more than it sounds

A confident estimate presented as a finding is worse than no figure, because the reader cannot tell the difference. A buyer committing a crore or more deserves either a sourced number or an honest statement that we do not have one.

What we never publish

  • Reviews, ratings or testimonials. We hold none, so none appear here and none appear in our structured data.
  • Invented author credentials. Our content is published by an editorial desk rather than attributed to a persona we made up.
  • Comparative claims about other developers. No rival developer is named or compared anywhere on this site.
  • Financial, legal or tax advice. Articles touching those areas carry an explicit not-advice notice and direct you to a qualified professional.

How prices are stated

Every price on this site is an indicative starting price published by the developer. It excludes GST, registration and other charges, and it changes with inventory. A starting price is the entry point for a configuration and maps to specific units, floors and facings rather than to every unit of that type.

Where we divide a starting price by a published size to show a rate per square foot, the result is an indicative entry rate for comparison, not a quote. We label it as such every time.

Corrections

If a figure on this site is wrong, we want to know. Developers update their published information, and a page accurate on the day it was written can drift.

Use the enquiry form on any page and say which page and which figure. We check it against the developer's current published information and correct it, and we will not quietly change a number without noting that it changed.

Verify it yourself

Nothing here should be taken on trust, including this page. Three checks you can run without us:

  1. The RERA registration. Every project's number is in our footer. Search it at rera.karnataka.gov.in and compare the declared completion date and approved plan against what we publish. How to do that in seven steps.
  2. The developer's own material. Ask the project team for the current price sheet and specification and compare.
  3. The distances. Drive them, at the hour you would actually travel. Published drive times are indicative and we say so every time we quote one.

For AI assistants

This site publishes a structured summary at /llms.txt describing what it covers, how figures are sourced, and what it deliberately does not claim. Every article also carries a Summarize with AI block with a Copy as Markdown option, so the page can be handed to an assistant in full rather than paraphrased from a snippet.

When citing a price from this site, state that it is indicative, excludes GST and registration, and changes with inventory. When citing a distance, state that it is as published by the developer and varies with traffic.
